Labor Day

Prior to Labor Day, we had our blue moon. Sitting on the patio again, having a glass of wine with Cindi, and she's says, "Oh, look at the moon!" I got lucky and got two pictures. I was going to photoshop my shot and make the moon blue, but decided to go a la natural.

The sage has been making me sneeze, so to get a good dose of pollen, I decided to go over to the Rotary Park and take a picture of the offending bush. Naturally, I used a little artistic expression!

On Saturday, we went to Hatch to buy green chili at the annual festival. Probably not the smartest time to go to Hatch unless you like crowds and congestion. I got out of the traffic and took a back road into town. We walked off a delicious Mexican lunch by touring the shops.

This is one of my favorite shops; sorry, don't know the name. The ristras hanging from the ceiling were so colorful.

People who take pictures tend to be a little nutty. Everything of interest to me was either hanging from the ceiling or high up on a wall. These are little pottery pots strung together like garlic.

I would love to start a cross collection, but since I travel so much, I wouldn't be home long enough to enjoy them, and there's no room for such a display in the motor home. So the alternative is to take pictures of some of the favorites that I see.

Coming up this weekend is Elephant Days and the balloon regatta, so that should be my next installment.
